You are welcome to ridgeway grammar primary school Matugga. This school started in 2002 with a total of 158 pupils but now we boast of a population of over 1000 pupils.

Our professional staff is highly trained and equipped with enough skills to handle and manage your children.  The staff of the school strives towards the all-round total development of our pupils and this includes the social, academic, moral, spiritual, psychological and emotional elements of the primary school curriculum.

The school caters for the children living in and around Kampala, Wakiso and neighbouring areas of Bombo and Luwero. Our boarding facilities however, cater for all children from any region of the country including those from other East African countries.  The classes at the nursery end of our school are kept as small as possible as we believe in the importance of an educationally rich early start where active and enthusiastic learners can be taught as much as possible in their first few formative years of school.

We have a proud tradition of providing excellent care and education for children with special needs.  The school employs two full time learning support teachers and two full time resource teachers who are all committed to the children in their care.

As a central part of our education for all special needs, the school caters for children with specific education needs too.  Our school has had exceptional results in helping children access the primary school curriculum and preparing them for secondary school as reflected in our Primary Leaving Examinations results (P.L.E) of the previous years.
